How to stop "getting folder sizes"?

just as said - how to stop this?? i already switched Cache sizes, no auto-creation for thumbs, but still each time i switch view location i have this "process". the worst is not the status text line, but the slowness this brings = double-click to open a folder - nope, "we're getting sizes", double-click once more, though even breadcrumbs and tree already shows like i am in desires location.

this seems to be main culprit. i still have sometimes moments with "Breadcrumbs are correct, view wrong 'cause didn't change", but at least overly it became faster, thanks.
