questions about branch view

Configuration | General | Sort and Rename | Rename | Resort list immediately after rename

i have the "Resort list immediately after rename" option always disabled. i'll test it in the enabled state

update: the test showed negative result. example:
1) i rename the "2004 - album-16" folder to "1984 - album-2" and press enter. the renamed folder is selected. but:

2) if later (in several seconds or during other xy's session) i decide to rename the "1984 - album-2" folder to something else, then (after pressing enter) i have the nested "1.flac" file unwantedly auto-selected

Confirmed. I could fix the issue with the wrong focus/selection.

(question-1: is there a way to disable this auto-updating in branch view? even if the sort is by path)

This however cannot be changed. Search Results and Branch Views are too complex to obey to a disabled "Resort list immediately after rename". They have to be fully rebuild from scratch and hence will receive a fresh sorting.
