Customize Toolbar - more latitude
The Separator is invaluable. But it would be nice to be able to add a Space and/or a Flexible Space as some other programs allow for.

Re: Customize Toolbar - more latitude
Not exactly what you are asking for, but if you are interested you can simulate a 1 button wide spacer by having a blank toolbar button, although it will have a mouse over effect and its width will not be adjustable, it will serve a similar purpose, you could put 2 next to each other if you wanted it wider than 1 button space.
Here is a pre-made example if you want to try it, just enter snippet; in the address bar and paste the following text into the popup dialog, it will add it to the far right of your current toolbar.

Code: Select all

Yours is a very innovative solution to the "problem". As the politicians are fond of saying it will be taken under advisement.

The Spacer
@ jupe: Have just implemented The Spacer. Was a bit apprehensive about the brute force approach it uses so tried it out first on the Throw Away Clone. Works wonderfully well; does just what needed to be done!
