Toolbar Active folder view icon status

(I am running 19000207)
I noticed today (but not sure when/if started) that I used to be able to tell at a glance
when the Toolbar Active folder view icon was on or off (its status). Today I can't tell. Is it my aging eyes or the difference is so subtle that is hard to see?

Maybe it's this from the changelog?

+ Toolbar: Now the button push effect (image is shifted 1 pixel down and
right on push) is optional. You can toggle it in Tools | Customize Toolbar
| Options | Button Push Effect.

If you are interested you can also change the toolbar background color to a user defined color, one that you think provides more contrast to the button pressed state color:
