XYPlorer could have a backup automatic feature?
Given that XY is a portable app, and thus all its settings are within the XY app folder (which is fairly well documented, I believe), backing up that folder should have been somewhat obvious, I would have thought.
It's the app's that use registry entries splattered all over the place that really need a backup feature!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Okay, got the files, thanks! Your Catalog file is definitely corrupt. I have no idea how this could happen. I tried hard to corrupt a catalog but failed.

Can it be that several users use the same XYplorer via network? Maybe a collision while writing the catalog happened...?

I'm the only user of XYPlorer. No one else could do that.

Could it be a third party software?
I also have XYPlorer at the startup list
Could it be in startup any conflict with other software. This problem happened immediately when I booted up yesterday morning.
At bootup there are several central scripts that run to certify the workstation in the LAN, because of the issues that I reported before it seems that something corrupted the catalog at that moment.

No, not really.

Can you repeat the problem at will?

No I can't. it was an unexpected situation.
Anyway, now I made a backup to avoid this kind of issue.
As soon as (if) this happen again I will try to take note of the circumstances and contact you here at the forum.
