Please follow the next steps... (6.30.0034, Vista)
- Disconnect from a network (if connected)
- Go to Tools - Browse for Network Server
- On "Browse for Computer" dialog, select the top parent entry (Network) and press OK
- After a short delay, XY prompts with an error message saying: "\\Network - Probably the server is currenty not available...". IMHO that is wrong because \\Network isn't a server but the net root, that off course is available and has one child, the current machine.
I think that in this case, XY should select the network folder, the one on left tree.
Another similar issue, also when disconnected from network.
- Right click Network folder on left tree.
- Select "Browse for Network Server"
- On "Browse for Computer" dialog, select the top parent entry (Network) and press OK
This time XY displays a different error message, although it's the same sittuation: "\\Network\ - This drive or server is currently inaccessible or hidden by user settings."
Browse for network

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
