Preserve all item dates doesn't work with folders

When I copy group of folders while activating "Preserve all item dates" option, I got the folders with current past date assigned to modified and created date. On the other hand the only files have there dates preserved as expected. Is that normal?
I am using Xyplorer 18.80

Can't reproduce this behavior with 18.80 - fresh instance, only
[x] Preserve all item dates

and
Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy
enabled after starting it

Does it happen when you use a fresh instance as well (with custom copy enabled and "Preserve all item dates" checked)?

From where to where are you copying these folders (paths!)?
Which filesystems are used on these drives (NTFS, ExFAT, FAT32,...)?

Fresh instance fixed the issue. Still don't have any idea why that happened in normal mode. Thanks
