Please include one more button to toggle system files and folders.

Perhaps making the "View -> Show Items" submenu into a toolbar button like List Management might be the better approach here?

No, the main reason I added the button to the toolbar was to make the current state immediately visible.

Then while you're at it I'd like a button for Show Folders in List.

You know that one's already there, only called "Hide Folders in List" so pressing it means hiding folders, which is more natural...

And BTW, right-click this button does pop up the "Show Items" menu ;)

But "Show folders in list" is not necessarily the alternate state of "Hide folders"! :P
If I read/interpreted it correctly, TheQuerty may want to see only the folders and not any files...right now, the Hide folders will do two of the possible four combinations, so a button to "Hide files" would provide the other two settings...right?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

So it is...

If it were more consistent instead of "natural" I might have found it. :P

Well, he was refering to the option "Show folders in list", option that does already have a TB button, only it's called "Hide Folders in List" so that it's checked/pressed when hiding folders, and not showing them.
But I don't think he was asking for a new option there, no ;)

That seems to be the case, but just was pointing out there was/is a combination that isn't presently handled, but the need for that seems so minimal that adding it wouldn't make any sense...
