Copying to and from Synology server

When dragging files to and from my Synology server there is no immediate indication that anything happened.
For example: When moving a file from one folder to another on the server the file does not show in the "moved to" folder until I move up one folder in the tree and then re-open that folder.
Likewise the file remains in the "moved from" folder until I click on that file.
