Hello! I'm new to XYplorer, but it's exactly what I've been looking for wrt tagging documents and files for easier organization. I'm in the middle of organizing and moving my files to a new computer that has less space than the one I'm currently working on. I've checked the forums and I can't seem to find a solution:
Is there a way to index or tag files that live online -either on an ftp server or in cloud storage (dropbox, Gdrive, OneDrive)?
If no, how do you manage your archived files/projects? Any tips on good backup protocol with XYplorer?
Thanks!

Re: Accessing FTP server or cloud storage
As long as you use a middleware to bind your ftp server path (Windows can do this on it's own via "Map Network Drive") / online storage path to a drive letter you can tag everything. You should make sure that these drive letters are the same for all XY installations if you plan to use the same tag database though...

Oh, excellent. That's easier than I thought it was going to be. Thank you very much!
