Hello,
I'm new to the world of Xy.
Can someone kindly let me know how to individually color code files within a folder?
I'd like to be able to highlight videos I've watched in green and the ones I haven't in red.
I'd like to also be able to make the font bold so I know that video was important etc.
Is this possible?
Thanks.

Re: Color code files
For highlighting individual files different colors I'd probably suggest labels, these can be applied via the Favorites Menu | Labels or you can do it via the toolbar button (which you may have to add on a default install) or you can add the label column to the details view and select colors from there, or as another alternative you can make the info panel visible with F12 and select the Tags tab and apply color labels from the drop down.
If you want more information on the subject you can paste the following in the XY address bar:

help "idh_tags.htm";Someone more knowledgeable may reply with a way to do this, I can't think of one but alternatively you could tag the file as "important".daniel6282 wrote:I'd like to also be able to make the font bold so I know that video was important etc.

Re: Color code files
Thanks for the tips,
I tried all the methods to color the file however it still remains black text as standard?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Re: Color code files
Make sure this setting is checked, you may have inadvertently unchecked it.
Tools | Configuration | Information | Tags | Show tags in file list
If that is not it I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, it should be as straightforward as selecting a file then clicking on the Favorites Menu | Labels and then the color.
If you originally when you said highlighting you meant you just want to change the font color and not the background, then you can customize the labels via:
Configuration | Information | Tags | Customize up to 31 Label captions and colors
to meet your needs too, such as clear background red text etc.
