Wow! thanks for the reverse search, I just have to say you really went above and beyond with this feature implementation, having it available in the editor mode of list management etc is really fantastic.

After researching the common find dialog and seeing how much code goes into such a feature it has given me an even greater appreciation of the work that you do. :ugeek:

Does anybody think it would be bloat if I made it a 3-button dialog: "Previous | Next | Cancel" ?

Not if it stays open (and in the foreground) when using the previous / next buttons...

What's the real use of this then? I can just hit F3 or Shift-F3 instead of Ctrl-F and clicking an additional button?

Well, you can search for new string upwards right away. Not possible now.

My opinion is it's unnecessary, but I'm happy whatever you decide.

Got a cooler idea in the meantime:

Code: Select all

+ Find Text Dialog: Now you can hold down the SHIFT key while clicking OK or
pressing ENTER to find the previous occurrence.

I just noticed that if you check the Word Wrap checkbox in a SC text dialog the Find Dialog doesn't popup anymore, and then if you subsequently un-tick the Word Wrap option the Find dialog still won't popup, but initially before checking Word Wrap it works as intended, it seems like this is a possible bug, or is that by design? I am using 19.00.0009, I tested 18.90.0123, and that works with Word Wrap enabled, so this is a recent change, maybe in v18.90.0126 - 2018-05-11 15:06
