When XYplorer finds it can't write config files (because they're read-only, or UAC protected and so on) can it show a prompt to operate in read-only mode instead of triggering a bunch of error messages when trying to save?
I was running XYplorer from a read-only mounted folder inside on a VM. I can easily toggle the setting "Save on exit"on my host machine, but I imagine this may not be always possible.
It might be best if the prompt is at the start of session, to avoid futile changes to settings.
