But you shouldn't! You just admitted yourself, despite your love for Dual Pane you tried XY, and then saw the truth : XY is better than any other file manager out there, DP included.

They're supposed to be professionals, and as such should do the same instead of - because of their own beliefs - refusing to (test and) see that XY actually is, the best file manager out there.
So they have to get fired & burn in Hell

You know it really is impressive - Tabs are being aggressively promoted and shown as a major advantage -Hopefully your new approach will get others to give it a try. As mentioned here on the forum - once you try you soon become totally convinced.
This product is really addictive and enjoyable!

Also a big thanks for correcting the wiki English here and there. I don't know how picky Americans are with orthography, but in Germany an incorrectly written documentation is certainly not a good advertisement.

Re wiki: I try to catch a few typos here and there when I have spare time...but anyone who reads it should know that it's NOT Don's personal wiki, so most any errors are the contributors fault, and many users are not American so I think in general y'all are doing quite well! I wasn't that great in English in school, but as I use it daily here, I can sometimes help catch some things that just don't sound correct...

If the spelling on the XY had issues, then it would be a problem, and so far, that doesn't happen except on rare occasion...and I'll try to catch them also and send PM about it...

Breadcrumb, History, Hotlist, Drives, Special System Folders, Favorite Folders, Favorite Files ... I have all of them configured with customized keyboard shortcuts.

In correspondence with the catalog this is just fantastic. Yeah, file management has not to be work, it can be fun too

I can't imagine how I could live without XYplorer

Hi Bergflex!
Since you configured so much and this takes time, it would be better to have backups of your settings just in case of those stupid harddisk problems. I am telling you because i have experienced such problems and had to redo everything. and that sucks big time. Anyway, happy exploring XY.

Tip: Click XY application folder and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+D to make a XY copy suffixed with currentdate.

I had to learn this lesson too, not with XYplorer but on some other occasions. So I already included my XYplorer config files in the list of my backup tool.

There's definitely something good about XYplorer, as a Total Commander (dual-pane) user of many years I'm still coming on your forums to read about XYplorer on a regular basis, as a developer I very much appreciate how much effort you put into providing so many regular new releases which take onboard all the feedback you receive.

Did I just notice a limited time offer on your front page?

Oh, what a time saver XYplorer is!

I just had to do a lot of file name editing. I'll spare you the details but commands such as "Show All Items In Branch", "Visual Filter", "Rename special" and some UDC were involved. Everything was done in an instant. I have tried a LOT of file managers, but - in my opinion - none of them can handle such jobs nearly as perfectly as XY.
