[FIXED]wonky hidden subscript execution

"_hidden" is executed instead of "visible". What gives?

Maybe change
"_hidden : hidden"
to
"hidden : _hidden"
(I didn't study syntax - I just tried it )

That's not the issue. Why is _hidden running? If XY thinks it's not hidden, I should get a multi-script menu with both visible and hidden.

OK, you're right. Now having read it, syntax says:

To hide a script simply prefix an underscore to the caption or label (a hidden script does not need a caption anyway). 

So the underscore should work in both situations.

And, as mentioned here, the caption for a hidden script has no function. So I'm used to just define the label with underscore, and all works well.

In the end: no need to use a caption in this case, but it is a bug nevertheless.
