VF and tab caption

Post by autocart »

Now that we can display the Visual Filter info in the list, is there a way how to not show it in the tab caption?

Good point. I'll make it configurable.

Did this ever get implemented? I can't find it on the Config pane under Tabs and Panes.

I see Custom settings for tab captions, but <filter> isn't an allowed variable.

(I'm writing a semi-technical book, with each chapter in its own folder. Sometimes I need more than one version of the chapter, based on options the readers use, so the ODT filenames all have different endings to distinguish which version is which. I of course have four tabs, each with a different filter set to the proper name ending. [Then yesterday I decided I needed to do some renaming, with Batch Rename allowing me to do it instantly--yay!]. So I merely need to click on each tab to see which version is where, which of course isn't a big deal. Ideally, my tab captions would be <folder>: <filter>.)

Ofc, but you did notice that the original request was to NOT show this information in the tab header?

Code: Select all

Configuration | Filters & Type Ahead Find | Visual Filters | [x] Show filter information in tab headers

Yes, sorry. I meant to ask it the other way, but I hit Submit too quickly!
