So you can't still select multiple folders, neither via shift + left click nor ctrl + left click?

Enter this into the address bar:
fresh;
hit Enter afterwards
Does selecting multiple items work in that new XY instance?

Then copy the files
E.g.:
C:\Temp\XYFresh
Start
C:\Temp\XYFresh\XYplorerFree.exe
afterwards
from your XY folder to a new folder, which is not under UAC controlContextMenu64.exe
XYplorerFree.exe
E.g.:

Start
C:\Temp\XYFresh\XYplorerFree.exe

Could it be that expee is actually talking about the tree when he mentions left pane?
If yes, you can't select multiple folders in the tree but by using dual pane it does work from one pane to the other or in single pane mode select the multiple folders in the list view then drag them to the destination folder in the tree.

What you call the left pane is the tree.
And you can't select multiple folders there.
Use a dual pane setup (press F10)...

Re: Cannot 'Copy' more than 1 Folder at Time from LEFT pane ?
the left "pane" is the tree view. It shows your current location. You select a folder here to p[em it in the actual file manager pane. It's impractical to allow selecting more than one folder in the tree.
Enable this: Main menu > Panes > Dual pane. You'll get the two pane view you need.
