Copy,Pause,Resume Problem

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Copy,Pause,Resume Problem
Hi! i have one question that i don't find the proper answer in here,recently i tried the last stable version,when i use the custom copy method (XY built in copy manager),and want to copy a large file,like 50 GB for example,if for some reason pause the copy,and then resume,the file reset itself starting from scratch,instead of properly resume and continue where i left before,anyone know if it is a limitation of XY or i am doing something wrong?

It's a limitation of XY. Or let's say a not-yet-done-feature. When I find the time... (no, cannot give a date).

Don, I would encourage you to bring this forward. This feature is so basic (each software I have which do some processing can be paused in between). It looks like XY remained in the stone age regarding this feature. Also a Ferrari would be very strange with a crank.admin wrote:Welcome to the club!

Even the names are wrong in the moment.
It's not Pause & Resume, but Break and Restart.
Quite a difference, I'm afraid.

Hmm not quite, because it restarts the current file but if you are copying several files, it doesn't restart the whole process.PeterH wrote:Even the names are wrong in the moment.

Thanks for your quick answer! i just hope you could do it soon,in the meantime i found the best combination for me,XY + FastCopy,for my needs it's great! keep up the fantastic job you are doing with XY! i simply LOVE the dark theme!
