Re: custom column - green click-able icon
Fascinating mystery. I have not the slightest idea what's going there.

Re: custom column - green click-able icon

Re: custom column - green click-able icon
Behavior is present as far back as 14.00.0100.
1) Note that Status Bar 3 also does not clear during the time that the icon is missing. (Unless over-ridden by another script/focusing an item.)
2) If I edit and save a listed file from another process this triggers a redraw in XY which restores Status Bar 3 and the column icons.
3) I can navigate to the same location in the other pane, refresh (F5), and switch back to the original pane all without it restoring the icon. Modify a file and then they return. logchange 7 shows this as:

Re: custom column - green click-able icon
ok, there seems to be a flaw in custom columns that normally does not suface so noticeablely.
I would like to give an example of how I can reproduce:
::fresh;
navigate to a "normal" folder with "normal" columns (in case its "Computer" or so)
right click on e.g. the name column and choose to show "Custom1:Dimensions" (directly from the context menu)
right click that new column and pick "Configure CC1..."
paste the test snippet and click ok
the green icon(s) are gone upon clicking on them (until refresh)

Re: custom column - green click-able icon
when I did add column
select cc
chose an undefined column (e.g. #16)
pasted the snippet there, then the green icons work well

Yup, I could repro that.
Now I'll fix it...
