Anyone see this issue with custom file icons?

Post by murdock01 »

I don't know when this happened because everything seems to be working fine, but I did have a point in which my folder icons switched to another icon for no reason.
When I went to add a custom icon definition I saw question marks in the list for custom file icons (see screenshot - I had more before the below experiment). Almost all the definitions had ?'s but a couple did show the actual icons.
The custom file icon dialog does seem to take a while to open. This happens on two different machines but I do keep the XY folder in sync because I work on both. I cleaned out all the definitions and closed XY. Then I restarted XY and added the definition shown in the screenshot. As you can see in the screenshot, the custom folder icon is defined and working but the dialog shows a ? instead of the icon.
Hope this is not something stupid on my part but I can seem to figure it out.

Thanks for any help.

Are you sure that you don't have a space between
">" and "<xyicons>" because that would create your scenario. All icons
are displayed correctly in the list and tree but you get a question mark
inside the PFI dialog...

Update. I just downloaded the latest beta into a directory and ran it. The only thing I changed was to add the custom folder icon like in the screenshot and I got the same result.

No clue, can't see anything related in the changelog.
But I use the same (and only) entry since years^^
