Auto-refresh - A setting for auto-refresh rate?

I'll admit I didn't do an exhaustive search of the forum, but did not see this topic in the search I did. Apologies if I missed it somewhere....

Is there a setting I can specify for how often auto-refresh updates the directory list(s)? i.e. Every second, 5 secs, etc.

If there isn't, might this be something to put on the "wish list"?

Auto-refresh is event-driven, not by timer.

OK. That makes sense (and maybe a bit of "D'oh!" with that).

Maybe, then, it's my system's occasional response time that's bothering me. I'll have to go back and think on this a bit more.
