:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Tab inheritance?

Post by John Bee »

I have a Tab pointing to My Documents\My Pictures.

This tab is locked and in thumbnail view.

This tab is in view.

If I select another folder in the treeview with the mouse the view jumps to the default tab as it should.

However, the default tab now shows the newly selected folder not in detail mode which it was in, but is now in thumbnail mode.

(Edit: and if you right click the tab header and go view.. Details is still checked even tho its in thumbnail view)

It seems jumping from a locked tab to another tab, makes the this tab inherit the previous tab's view!

If I just select the default tab by clicking on the tab this does not occur.

Please try again the next version. I think (did not test) this is a side effect of a non-perfect implementation of the Cycle-tab-delay-browse added in 6.20.0002. Should be gone now.
