Show these associations?
I use only a single script for all my portable association needs (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13510)
and it doesn't care about admin permissions...
And what happens instead, nothing?but when i try to open a file from xyplorer it doesn't open , for example a jpg

1. You have an error in the first definition for vlc
">>"
2. What's the use of the second vlc definition? The first already has some formats defined that you're using in the second as well... So either integrate the second into the first (only the missing ones) or maybe use {:Video} if you don't need a different player for all missing formats (and if you do, define those in a higher entry and let the vlc definition catch the rest)
Fix the basic stuff first

There are no "Windows 7" permissions. This folder was created from a user that had a different SID and your current OS doesn't know about that user anymore (even if he has the same name as before). Happens e.g. when you install Windows from scratch instead of an upgrade.
Häh? I've posted an example of how to get a (nearly) complete list of e.g. all video/audio formats already...2)i wanted to have all the video , audio and image files
