Re: Update Forum Software?
OK, just added a new style that replicates subsilver as good as it can: AllanStyle-SUBSILVER

Fonts (everything that's a link) look blurry in that theme. FF 50.0

Re: Update Forum Software?
Regarding the blurriness? Fixed. Regarding functionality? Em, no
Can't comment if it's now easier for people who are colorblind...

Re: Update Forum Software?
Let me answer the part re "colorblind" since I brought it up:
a) Yes, it is much better now in the forum overview:
b) And yes, also slightly better in the the sub-forums to see new (unread) stuff, the smaller icons make it a bit harder again.
If I recall correctly, the old subsilver theme had a separate column for the "new posts"-icon which is now displayed inline at the beginning of the thread title and therefore doesn't stand out as much.
Overall certainly a big improvement over the prosilver theme for me.
While I would still prefer to have the old subsilver back completely, this is usable again and maybe, just maybe, we'll get a few more tweaks/improvements in the future.

Here's another two cents.... I hated the change also. The alternate one is much better, thanks Don.

Huge improvement with AllanStyle-SUBSILVER, imo!
And I agree with RalphM on point b)

Re: Update Forum Software?
The previous design was better in several ways. It was spanning the whole width of the browser window (exceptionally important factor nowadays). Threads that I have posts in were more clearly discernible. Currently, other than that, it's Ok.

Re: Update Forum Software?
Sorry to get this old thread started again but it seems with yesterday's forum glitch and - I assume - the subsequent fix, we seem to have lost the SUBSILVER theme again.
