Hello,
I downloaded the new version xyplorer, and would like to know more about the "Portable Tags", I cannot view anything in the help file Xyplorer.chm in Windows 10 Pro, this is my first time checking the help file, I'm not sure if its working before or not. Right now, i can only see the right-side list of topics, the viewing area is just white.
TIA!

Welcome to the forum.
Which file did you download exactly? When you right click it in Windows File Explorer, "Properties" -> Do you have a button named "Unblock" in the "General" tab in the lower right corner?

Re: Help File cannot view in Windows 10
I have the same issue. Downloaded No-Install 17.20.0100.
I am using Windows 10. I also launched XY with and without being administrator, no change.
When I click on any of the help items nothing appears.
FIXED - I manually double clicked on the XYplorer\XYplorer.chm and it popped up a windows asking to confirm opening the file, I unchecked it to prompt me going forward.
Now when I press F1 the contents are available.
I also dragged the XYplorer\XYplorer.chm to my catalog and that also worked.

It's also in the FAQ: https://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=chm

Re: Help File cannot view in Windows 10
The FAQ does not specify the same solution that I came across.
When I checked the file was not blocked.
I had to manually launch the CHM file from Windows Explorer (UAC prompting) and unchecked it to not ask again.
Then when I opened XY and launched F1 I was able to access the help file.
Oddly my first installation of XY did not have this problem it only occurred when I started to use the No-Install version.

The FAQ could perhaps be expanded to also include that solution.JGM wrote:[...] manually launch the CHM file from Windows Explorer (UAC prompting) and unchecked it to not ask again.
