To have XY ignore two archival drives named I and J

What is the best simple way to have XY ignore two archival drives named I and J?
These are duplicates of nearly everything (using GoodSync) and I rarely need to visit - except to see if all is well.

Reducing the total volume stored by half should make XY run faster - but by how much?

Ignore in what way? Not showing them in the tree?

Ignore in pretty much every way possible.
I was checking list management - looking at favored folders, files etc. and all the stuff under Recent Locations etc
and seeing I and J drive info that could be done without.
So I asked, what is perhaps a dumb question, to see what else I may have overlooked.

There is a tweak in the XYplorer.ini you can use.

HideDrivesByLetter=IJ

Inserted the magic line as shown. Did a reboot and found I and J drives have NOT been excluded.
Is there a different place that it should have been entered?
Some other thing that needs to happen to make this work?

This tweak is in the "Settings" section, not in "General" and the entry already exists, it just needs to be filled with the drive letters...

It did not work - even with H turned on or off and a reboot.

Double checked that XYplorer.ini was changed correctly.

As you can see there is also a XYplorer02.ini - that mysteriously keep changing by itself - what is this file?
It also reflects the ver 17.10.0007 beta that I am using - is that where the changes should be made?????

Ignore vs. Hide
Ignore 'to me' means XY will run far faster because it has none of my files on I: and J:

Hide only means that I can not manipulate files on J & I - XY will maintain the files - and is therefore useless to me.

Suddenly I'm also unable to drag files to a different folder - what has been reset?????

Menu > Tools > Open Configuration File will open the correct ini file for editing. Use this menu item, then exit XYplorer with the ini file open in editor, make and save changes, then start XYplorer.

Probably Tools > Customize List > Manual Sorting ?

Correct Sammay - drag and drop BECAME ok when Manual Sorting was unchecked -I WAS JUST GETTING TO LIKE manual sorting!

Admin why can we not manual sort AND drag and drop - as in other programs??????
With manual sort and rename (shift+F2) I would very much prefer that the manual sort remained after a rename files. <-----

As a rule I use Modified and latest at the top which I get now. After a resort I need to do a Name sort to
see the new order and then back to manual sort. A REAL PAIN because it is so distracting because I typically
manual sort a folder or parts of a folder about three or more times!
