Having thumbnails ignore original images sizes?

Post by TRAPPITY___TRAPPITY »

I have my thumbnails set to 675x675 (for picture previewing), and I've noticed that if I have an image smaller than that size, it will not be scaled to the 675x675 aspect ratio. Is there a way to convince XYplorer to scale those smaller images to fit that size? I don't want it cropped, I just want all images to display to the maximum viewing area possible for each image, despite some pictures being smaller than the maximum viewing area.

The only alternative I can think of (as I also use this size while scrolling through my shortcuts that have 252x252 ICO files as their pictures) is if someone has a way to set a 675x675 file of some sort to display as the icon for a shortcut.

EDIT: I would like to have this done (at least one of the above methods) with either XYplorerfree, or the latest XYplorer 17.10, please.

Also, thank you so, so much to whoever can help me with this, it would mean a lot to me, and I would really appreciate it, thank you! ;-)

Sorry, not possible. Thumbnails are never stretched to fill.

If that's the case, what about my second suggestion? Is there a way to make shortcut icons (by any means) 675 x 675?

I don't think so.
