[Windows10] XYCopy showing up in internet usage detail

Going to Settings app's Network & Internet > Data Usage > Usage Details, I find XYCopy is right up there with the usual suspects of internet access.

is this just Windows being funky or is there maybe something in XYCopy's personality that's making Windows thinks it's internetting? I should mention XYCopy was the only odd app out; otherwise it's a perfectly normal list of apps regarding internet use.

This is a log of the last 5 days after I upgraded to the anniversary update, I don't remember anything unusual with this list the few times I was here before.

can't confirm your finding on one "anniversaried" machine. In contrast, I do see YAUM.exe listed there.

Of course, it was intended to provide a positive control.

But now an my "anniversaried" desktop (the previous stats are from the Surface Pro):

Though the figures are much lower than yours this is indeed an unexpected observation.

XYcopy has zero business with the internet. Cannot explain this.

That's the case When I copy something from a network share with a local drive letter to the local system with custom copy = on,
XYcopy.exe is in that list as well.
