You know that you can timestamp a bunch of files at once with XYplorer?
Yes, I know that...but...in this case, it wouldn't have really helped, I don't believe... :(

Because: I had a set of 8 JPG files...each one was unique and has a matching smaller vers in another folder...I needed to set a unique and particular date/time value for each file in create and modified, and then apply the same values to its clone...thus I was dealing with 8 different values to be applied to 16 files, so having the ability to copy 'create' to 'modif' would have helped build the initial 8 values, and then the ability to copy that pair of values to its clone file would have helped there also, ok?
Ok, understood. It looks like a somewhat special case to me, but I can see the point in it. I'll add "copy created date to modified date" to CKS for now, because it's a simple concept. Pasting dates from clipboard is more complex because of all the possible user errors.

:) So you added the "copy create to modified"...good! THANKS!
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
