[help] How to set extra tag to a file ?

Hi, i want to use an extra tag field "number" ,i add a column "extra1" and configure its type to "number"
but i don't know how to set this extra tag to a file
for example ,i want to set tag number "98" to a file ,how can i do this please ?

It says "start rating files by right-clicking their cells in the column:" i tried adding rating column but when i right click on that cell ,there is no rating menu

You right click the cell of the extra1 column for the file you want to tag and choose "Edit Data..."
You get a new window. You enter 98, hit "OK" and if necessary save your tag database afterwards

Thank you for the help, highend . I right click on extra1 column ,but there is no ""Edit Data..." line in context menu

Is that entry unchecked? -> No context menu for those columns...
