High-Tree

I found the High-Tree option the first time I installed XYplorer, but after installing the latest Beta update, I cannot find it again. Some discreet pointing would be appreciated.

That's because it changed:

    * Menu Window: the old "High Tree" option is now called "Wide Info
      Panel", and moved up from the "Layout" submenu to the main "Window"
      menu. Also the toolbar button graphics of "Wide Info Panel"
      (before "High Tree") and "Show Info Panel" were swapped,
      suggesting that the new default state is a non-wide Info Panel.

Oh good, I thought I was loosing it... thank you.

If Don reads this, the help file still has a "High Tree" reference, perhaps it should call attention to the new Wide Info panel.

I did indeed miss that... and probably many others. Just a noob with XY, three day since registration actually. Will have to search back through the forum to see what's what... and who's who :o)

Oh!

I should have realized what your situation was...I saw that you just joined forum yesterday, but presumed you'd read it before that, as you wrote that "found High Tree the first time", but when I checked the XY site, I see that the last "official vers" was 6.10.42 (which was just prior to 6.10.44 when that option was changed) so as new user, you probably started with that and then moved to the most recent beta, so there have been MANY changes between those...

Anyway, welcome to the world of XY and you'll find a very dedicated (fanatic in some cases) group of users who frequent this forum, as does the author...BTW, jacky is more of a user of the pgrm than I am, but I ended up being a bit more prolific here...we all are quite willing to help new users (and "OLD" users who sometimes forget how things work!

Yep, I'm aware of it. The help file is my Nemesis...
