I repeatedly find myself pressing Ctrl + F when I have a text file open in Quick File View and being confused when nothing happens
Find (Ctrl + F) in Quick File View for text files
Find (Ctrl + F) in Quick File View for text files
With many search-related wishes already posted I'd like to ask for another one:
I repeatedly find myself pressing Ctrl + F when I have a text file open in Quick File View and being confused when nothing happens
I think the functionality doesn't need to be as sophisticated as in today's text editors. A simple find, find next, find previous, ignore case would probably be enough and if more is needed one can still open the file in a text editor. Keyboard shortcuts would be a must though.

If this ever happens it might also be nice if activating a text preview from content search results highlighted and scrolled to the matching contents.
