Collision Prompt upon file rename

Collision Prompt; great for Copy & Paste, but it doesn't seem to trigger when operating out of a single directory whilst simply re-naming files.

My scenario; I've taken many boring photos for study, and they're named;
33.jpg
34.jpg
35.jpg
36.jpg

And as I rename each of the photo's to their contents, I name some with the same name where I'm purposely anticipating/triggering the suffix prompt;
example.jpg
example-01.jpg
example-02.jpg
example-03.jpg

So as I name 37.jpg to "Example", it would be handy to see the file that's being prompted to be suffix/overwritten via the Collision Prompt. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to happen.
