full row select and autosize columns does not save

Post by Veethoben »

I've been using XYplorer the last six months, version 15.90.0000 (fixed license pro). I liked it and so I decided yesterday to buy the latest 16.90.0000.

First problem: full row select and autosize columns (in tools -> customize list) do not work (configuration is not saved).

Perhaps my fault... but worked well in 15.80.

Installed (not portable) in Windows 10 - 64
Thanks in advance. And sorry for my english (I use Google translate  )

Hi and welcome to the club!

I tried it with a fresh 16.90 and works just fine.

What did you do, what did you expect to happen, and what happened instead?

Especially, are you sure that the settings were saved? To save settings:
a) click menu "File | Save Settings"
OR/AND
b) tick "Configuration | Startup & Exit | Save settings on exit"

Well, seems that my problem was the configuration, so I used the easyest method: uninstall and reinstall. Now everything works well.

I'll be more careful with the configuration (only 4 or 5 changes... restart XYplorer... and so on)

You can do that, but it's superstition. :) The config can take any number of changes at once without any problem. :cup:

I'm having this issue too when I use the menus to unset it.. It resets after some time, even if I select SAVE from the file menu...
