Hi,
I would appreciate some help...
I use the advanced/batch rename feature a lot. I am wondering if there is other batch feature that would allow to change file path content.
The practical case: I changed a driver and part of the name of my root folder (Z:\#Dados\ to Y:\_Dados\). Now all shortcuts don't work. I would like to select all shortcuts at once and replace part of their paths from Z:\#Dados to Y:\_Dados:
From: "Z:\#Dados_Software\Docear\docear.exe"
To: "Y:\_Dados_Software\Docear\docear.exe"
So far I could change it just manually, in the properties of file by file. Then, if there is any way XYplorer can do it in batch through a smarter and automatic way it would be great.
Thanks for assistance,
Cadux

Look at the last script in that thread and adapt it to your needs:
