F2 Rename Dropdown Button problem.

Did a F2 rename of a selection of files. Was offered Dropdown Button with a list of recent renames -OK
PROBLEM - Each additional rename (even after xyp restart) the F2 screen no longer has the Dropdown Button.
Am I missing another setting?
Why would one NOT want the Dropdown Button(s)

Never mind.
The answer is : USE shift-F2 and all is well.

Why have two nearly identical commands where one is near useless???

Have no idea hot I arrived at the Shift F2 screen the first time??
Is this an instability in XYP?
or is it just me :-)

Shift F2 is the shortcut for Batch Rename. All cool.
