Why can I not pin a certain program (XYP) to the taskbar in win 10.
I did a google and found a lot of horribly complicated answers - involving regedit etc.
It did pin to the Start Menu - do not dare to unpin it from there and be lost forever.
Any Win 10 solutions that work with XYP?

I just right clicked a fresh running v16.60 XY instance on it's taskbar entry, used "pin to tray" et voilà, it was pinned...

That may be the case but it's obviously not an inherent problem with XY itself

I just hoped, in desperation, that someone here might have the answer.
Start10 program may have an answer. I just hate to modify an OS.
