I have over 5000 jpg serialized in one folder. For some reason it needs to be in same folder. Xyplorer displays thumbs gallery syle in one pane only.
I want to put 'link thumbs' right at the top of the list view... so that they will serve as shortcut links to respective jpgs... say on line 1234, line 2555, line 3455.
Is there some way I can achieve this? Any help will be much appreciated.

Re: shortcut 'Go to Line'
The sel scripting command can do that, e.g.:
Would scroll the 59th item into view and set the focus on it
Code: Select all
sel 59;
focus;

Re: shortcut 'Go to Line'
Hi highend, thank you for your reply.
I have never looked into xyplorer scripting until now... and is still at a lost on where to start.
I see it work on 'Run Script'... but I was thinking of the script run automatically in the background by just clicking on the 'link thumbs' I can assign as shortcut.
Can you advise if this is possible? Thank you.

Re: shortcut 'Go to Line'
I'm not positive what you are after, but if you are working in a dual pane mode, you should also check out the features of Sync browse, Sync scroll, and Sync select available from the Pane menu. They also have associated Command IDs that you can use in a script. For example, if you had pane 1 in detail view and pane 2 in thumbnail mode and you select a particular file in pane 1 that's in detail mode, the same file is auto selected in pane 2 in thumbnail mode...nice feature.

I'm not sure why that is. I can get thumbnails in both panes in gallery mode or any mode either for the same folder or different folders.johnthyque wrote: Xyplorer displays thumbs gallery style in one pane only

Re: shortcut 'Go to Line'
Mh, you want real file links point to specific images?
One way (and I guess it's the only one):
Create shortcuts to XYplorer.exe (-> they have a .lnk extension)
Right click such a shortcut, use properties from the context menu
Edit the target field:
1. Edit the path to your XYplorer.exe and
2. Change <number> to the real number of an image
Last step: Change the icon for that shortcut by clicking on the different icon button...
If I understood it correctly, what you're trying to achieve...
