Scrolling not smooth in 16.30 release

I've used XYplorer for a few years and upgraded to the paid version about 6 months ago. This is my first post here.

On the newest version, 16.30, if I grab a folder and want to move it into another folder below what I can see on the screen, XYplorer no longer scrolls smoothly when I drag the folder down to the bottom of the window. Sometimes it won't scroll at all. Sometimes it scrolls part way and won't move again. Sometimes it scrolls part way and then after moving the "dragged" item around it will scroll again some more.

I have NOT had this problem when trying to drag something to a folder higher up in the list. Upwards scrolling seems to work fine.

I'll try to upload an example window capture in an attachment. Please refer to that image when reading the following: If I want to move the folder "elex" (highlighted in the lower right pane) to be a subfolder under the folder "misc artwork" (which is visible in the left pane but is not visible in the lower right pane), I will try to drag "elex" to the bottom of the window. The file listing SHOULD scroll past the "lame3.99" folder, but it doesn't always (as described above).

Yes, I know there is a workaround. I could always drag "elex" to the visible folder in the left pane. But I don't always have the destination folder visible in the left pane. And, that's not the point. It should scroll down like it used to, but it doesn't always. Hopefully someone can take a look at this.

The following excerpt from the change log, especially the last sentence, should help:

      delay of 1 second before any hot scrolling sets in when hovering 
      the top and bottom margins of the list. This allows for dragging 
      files between horizontal panes without any unintentional hot
      scrolling.
      BTW, remember that hot scrolling in XY only happens in the left 
      third of the list.

It might be an idea to broaden the hot zone to the left *half* of the list (as it was in v6.30.0009 - 2007-09-13 11:59 and before).

I'm sorry, admin, but this does not help. I tried to emphasize that I have been using this product for several years. I know how it works for what I usually do. I drag and drop all the time. 16.30 isn't scrolling like earlier versions did. It has nothing to do with me not being able to hit the hot zone.

I made a 32 second video to demonstrate. All I do in the video is grab a folder and try to drag it down (unsuccessfully) and up (successfully) within the pane.

OK, now I have to eat crow. Apparently I wasn't hitting the horizontal hot zone. I guess it (the hot zone) is a very narrow strip across the bottom of the pane just above the horizontal scroll bar. Why I all of a sudden wasn't able to do that, I don't know. Maybe the hand-eye coordination isn't what it used to be.

I went back and reinstalled versions 16.20 and then 16.10 from the Freezer to confirm that the hot zone scrolling appears to be unchanged.

I still think that upward scrolling is easier, or at least more forgiving, but that is a separate conversation, and not a bug.

Well, I can find no difference between up and down scrolling.
