UDC: how to use app-icon?
I have this UDC to open a file with UEStudio and it works nicely - so I now wanted to make it beautiful and add an icon. I was hoping the caption "UEStudio|%ues%" would do this - but it didn't. I tried the expanded version "UEStudio|"C:\Program Files\IDM Computer Solutions\UEStudio\UEStudio.exe" - but that did not work either. Is there no way to use the resources in EXE directly?

Even while the quoting is wrong it should have worked...
"UEStudio|"C:\Program Files\IDM Computer Solutions\UEStudio\UEStudio.exe"
Show a screenshot of the config window for that command...

So when you open the User menu and go to open with, that entry shows no icon?
If that's true, paste this into the address bar and hit enter.
Output?

Can't reproduce...
Show a screenshot after you've opened the Menu - User - Open With submenu

The file contains the icon, BTW - I checked that ;-) I will now install the latest beta and also re-install UEStudio - and report back then...

Really interesting.
It works fine on my normal system (Server 2012 R2U1) and in a VM with Win 10...

That's strange. Even after the restart and re-install I have the same effect. BTW, meanwhile I also added a UDC for YAUM - and that icon is not shown, too!

Do they work when you use ::fresh;
in the address bar and just setup any of the two for the user commands?

Re: UDC: how to use app-icon?
Hi, maybe I missed something, but I'm not sure why you're using a pipe in the caption block to separate title and icon. Typically in the Open and OpenWith menus you can simply specify your title in the "Caption" block and the exec file alone (full path/name) in the Application block. The icon displays fine in this example...In this case the app is quoted but it's not need though maybe it would be if you have spaces in the path/name.
Edit: I meant to say that the following unquoted line in the Caption block does work for me also, but it's not need since the above works:

Re: UDC: how to use app-icon?
Well, when I started I also just had the link to the exe (no %EnvVar%) - and did not see the icon! Which is why I read HLP and added the pipe - and when it still didn't work, I posted what I had at that time.
