Just updated to 16.20.300; Drag and Drop stopped working

Just updated to 16.20.300; Drag and Drop stopped working
Pretty much what the subject says. Just ran the upgrade, now grabbing a file in the folder window only allows you to rearrange it in the current folder list. Can't pick up and/or drag-n-drop to other window, other pane, the tree... nothing. (Closed and restarted and no dice.)
Been using the registered version for years now; just starting to take time to play around with some of the more advanced features when I get the time. So I may well be on here periodically... like when I've, uh, broken something...

Why? Looks like Manual sort got activated. 
@diannelmerc, find this menu option: Main menu > Tools > Customize list > Manual sorting. Disable it if it was active.
