Customizable Floating Information

Hi all,

I wish xyplorer have a customizable floating information.

The customizable floating information idea came from the floating preview feature.

The floating information will contain the Properties, Version, Meta, Tags, Label, Comments and Custom Columns all in one place.

Its customizable because the user can add/remove custom columns or set a group of custom columns for a particular filetype.

The information would be seen in rows inside the floating panel, the use can edit the information if they wish

i.e.

Custom Columns:The custom column would be translated to a custom row.

you're 90% correct, all the information are already there, i was going to wish for a customizable info panel at first, but realize the floating panel would be way better.

the wish is not about the Views (Details/Details with Thumbnail), rather to consolidate all the information in one floating panel, unlike the info panel, where the user needs to click on the tab to get to a certain info (properties, meta, tags), the wish is to have everything in plain sight for viewing/editing.

the other way would probably be a script with text() usage -there one definitely can customize what info he want's to see.

There is no "floating" when text() get's used... Could be done (as always) via AutohotKey that get's the necessary info via WM_COPYDATA.

yes, sort of a customizable tooltip ( the current tooltip is already customizable), but moved to a dedicated floating panel where one can edit /view information on the fly.
