Yes, they offer one, but it's 256 MB which I find a bit suspicious...
It doesn't show thumbnails on Win 8.1 x64 for .raf files while it works fine in e.g. Win 7 x86.

I've experienced problems with their JPG autorotation with XY (I reported odd behavior previously) so I had to turn that feature off but I do have the Fugi RAF thumbnails. In addition to the FPV control panel applet, go to FastPictureViewer in the "Programs and Features" section of the control panel (where you install and remove programs - may be different in Win 8.1), right click on FastPictureViewer and select "Change" and you'll get access to ALL the individual features to install and remove (i.e., available on disk or not) as you do when you initially install. See if something is not looking right there. Possibly a feature was inadvertently turned off. I'd also try installing the very latest codec pack update v3.8.0.96 which will give you the same opportunity to select the available features as right clicking on the program in Programs and Features. You'll need your order number to make it functional and then a restart.

I'll have to look at RAF thumbnails in Windows 10 when I get home. It's suppose to have more or better RAW support built-in. Though I have FastPictureViewer installed on that computer as well.

Thanks, that spares me from some frustration.

Thanks, I'll give it a try later.

HA, success!!! I disabled everything apart from RAF and no problems anymore. I assume it's been a conflict with some other soft, maybe OpenOffice which also offers a bunch of thumbnail extensions. When I find the time I will try to isolate the issue. For now I'm happy with my RAF thumbs!

:D  ... and a cute cow:

 and hopefully you'll be able to re-enable most of the other features. Holy cow, yes that is a cute cow.

Do the thumbnails remain the same file size regardless of what quality is chosen? I just tested the different options and it didn't seem to make a difference as to how much space they took up.

You mean the size they take up in the cache? It only depends on the size, not the quality.
