Click and Search Behavior

Why does checking and unchecking a click and search item take you to the root directory of your PC instead of returning you to the folder view you were previously in?

It actually takes you to the searched location. If you searched your whole PC then it will take you to the root directory of your PC.

Oh, I see; it's because it's running a global search. I was confusing that functionality with Visual Filters. Is there a way to add a category that allows me to quickly toggle Visual Filters in the Catalog?

Sure.

1) Add a new catalog item

2) Set location to the filter pattern
Location: |*.jpg

3) Tick this (that way your catalog item will toggle the filter when you click it again)
Configuration | Find Files & Branch View | Visual Filters | Toggle on same filter

Got it, but is there a way to filter by tags? Location: directory|tags: doesn't seem to work.
