Floating Preview: Video playback

Post by phil »

Basic video playback functionality is already implemented for the Preview tab. It would be awesome if this would work for Floating Preview, too (instead of showing the thumbnail).

My wish:
1) Auto play when open Floating Preview.
2) The screen area for Media Player Control seems too much (aka the actual video playing area is much smaller than Floating Preview window)
3) Anyway for keyboard to control playback, i.e: Spacebar to Play/Pause, Left/Right arrow to seek...?

1) Not possible.
2) I see no difference to Explorer.
3) Not possible.

There is nothing I can change here. Preview 2.0 = using preview handlers = totally outsource the previewing = no control.

Yes, I tried the beta, thank you, Awesome work, I really appreciate that!
I really wished it would just behave like the quick preview with autoplay, autorepeat, sub loops, etc.
Also it seems like you cannot use the new fancy Tag Bar in Preview 2.0, right?

There seems to be no way to autoplay this. :\

Tag Bar: coming... :)
