It was just a bug. Fix comes next.RalphM wrote:Apparently by introducing this new switch you also changed the default state to normal.Code: Select all
v6.00.0019 - 28.05.07 09:42 + Added new command line switch to control the window state on start up: /win=min -> start minimized /win=max -> start maximized /win=normal -> start normal
Is there an INI-tweak to return the default to max'd? (like winstate=xx)

Finally, deleting the XYplorer.ini file and restarting from scratch with only the "minimize to tray" option works.serendipity wrote:Cannot reproduce this. If i set minimize to tray it shows only on tray and not in taskbar when i minimize XYp.
I will see later if the problem reocur as I will set it up as I did before ...

On my computer, if I check the option "Show folder sizes in file list", the problem occurs 100% of the time...clauderenaud wrote:serendipity wrote:Cannot reproduce this. If i set minimize to tray it shows only on tray and not in taskbar when i minimize XYp.
When unchecked it disappears...

Hmmm cannot reproduce this too.
But I have a different problem than you have. I use BBlean shell instead of windows shell and the moment I check or uncheck the "Show folder sizes in file list" option the BBlean skin breaks and I see XP skin for my XYplorer app alone (other apps show BBlean skin). I know XY hasnt been tested on other shells and it doesnt care about what shell I use, but I thought I will report this anyway.
Maybe there is something fishy about "Show folder sizes in file list" option. Atleast for you and me.

Sorry, actually after checking/unchecking and then minimizing and restoring. I tried this again now and same result, skin breaks after restoring from minimized state.admin wrote:serendipity wrote:... the moment I check or uncheck the "Show folder sizes in file list" option the BBlean skin breaks ...You mean the moment exactly? In config window???

OK.
1. I check "Show folder sizes ..." option and then minimize XY and restore. After restore skin breaks and skin remains in XY style until I restart XY.
2. Same happens when I uncheck that option and minimize and restore.
OK, found another thing, you dont have to minimize and restore. after check/uncheck, click OK and open config again and skin breaks.
Note: I am talking about BBLean skin here, not windows skin.

Are you saying you minimize or open config WHILE getting folder sizes is still going on?serendipity wrote:OK.
