This may not be a problem with XYplorer, but. I use VLC for playing my media. It has the option to register GLOBAL Hotkeys - hotkeys that route to VLC regardless of whether VLC has focus or not. It works when VLC or any other app has focus EXCEPT FOR XYPLORER.
Is XYplorer taking over all global hotkeys when it has focus and if so, why? I can't press the Next Track or Previous Track or Stop or Play/Pause buttons. The volume and mute keys do work.
Why is it only XYplorer and why would XYplorer be interested in the Next Track etc buttons?
Thanks.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Re: Global Hot Keys
What about global hotkeys like Win+E? Works in XYplorer here. I might not have any hotkey on my system to reproduce the issue.
