Am a heavy mouse user. Over the course of this year have noticed when clicking the Hourglass appears more and more frequently. While this not not appear to be hampering XY's operational speed it is subliminally annoying.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

Re: Seeing the "hourglass" more then ever
Showing or not showing the hourglass is tricky because sometimes speed is not predictable e.g. due to network delays.
When exactly do you see an hourglass that's always just superfluous?

Before posting tried to find a common causation but was unable to do so. Just that is unequivocally more often. As an empirical observation, the greatest probably of it happening is when switching between folders.

If switching between folders is so slow that you see the hourglass, then it can have reasons outside XY. Or is can be your XY settings. Do you get it too with a fresh installation?
