"Age Display Limit" not working for me

I'm on the latest version (15.50.0100) and in Configuration->Styles I set "Show Age maximum" to d, but it doesn't seem to do anything. For example, a file I modified an hour ago is still showing a "Modified" time of "8/8/2015 12:18:30 PM", rather than the expected "1 hour ago".

I exited and came back in, but got the same. Am I doing something wrong?

Tip: Right-click any of the date columns to toggle Show Age from the popup menu.
