Single-Click File Navigation?

Post by uber-matthias »

hi,
Is it possible to configure XYplorer to Open/Execute a Directory/File on Single-Click and Select Directories/Files by hovering over them - in the same way as can be configured in Windows Explorer?
thanks, matt

Configuration > Menus, Mouse, Safety > Mouse > Single click on icon opens list items (but it doesn't work by clicking on the file name...)

But selecting by hovering? Imho no. Although: Interesting feature

thank you highend; that sort of does it for me; would be better to have single click on folder name open the folder too;
selecting by hovering is the behaviour that can be configured in windows explorer; not strictly neccessary for me in this case

Even with the single click option selected, the single click does not work.

I would really love to have this work. It's super annoying to double click everything, especially after being accustomed to using linux file managers for such a long time.

Any help, is highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Ciao.

1. What's the "Image" for?
2. You are clicking on the icon, not on the filename itself, right?

the image was to be sure I was using the correct option to have this work.

Odd thing is I left to lunch for a few hours, then restarted my pc for other reasons. xyplorer started working correctly. strangest thing.

In any case Thank you for all your help.
